SAFE Fertility Group PCL Supports Academic Research in Reproductive Medical Technology, Awarded Silver Medal at Thailand New Gen Inventors Award 2026
SAFE Fertility Group PCL extends its congratulations to Ms. Pattaravarin Panyakaew, a master’s degree student in the Medical Technology Program at Khon Kaen University, whose invention titled “A Machine Learning Model for Non-Invasive Prediction of Chromosomal Status in Blastocyst-Stage Embryos” has been awarded the Silver Medal at the Thailand New Gen Inventors Award 2026 in the Health and Medical Innovation category. The award was presented during Thailand Inventors’ Day 2026, organized by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.
The project was developed through close collaboration among faculty members and experts from multiple disciplines. Wiwat Quangkananurug, M.D., The Founder and CEO of the SAFE Fertility Group PCL., contributed as an academic advisor, providing professional collaboration and sharing insights drawn from real-world clinical practice. His role focused on offering conceptual guidance and supporting the development of the machine learning model to ensure its relevance and appropriate alignment with clinical applications in reproductive medicine.
This invention explores the application of machine learning technology to study a non-invasive approach for predicting chromosomal status in blastocyst-stage embryos.
